Sharron Bailey is the RUDEST person I have EVER encountered on a BUSINESS call. Her tone and demeanor with me over a business call was tacky uncalled for and massively disrespectful!! She only accepts customers who she feels are worthy of her low grade unqualified back alley excuse for tax services. She is an ill-mannered individual and is extremely unfit to work with the public. I would NEVER recommend her to anyone for anything. Save yourself from this incompetent and highly unqualified person.

Horrible customer service.

I am deeply disappointed with Matt's services. He completed our taxes in 2020 and 2021. I got a referral from a friend to use him. My husband and I had a very simple tax situation in 2020-21, so all that was necessary was simple email communication. Our taxes were even simpler in 2022 (why we used Turbo Tax for that year). In 2023, I approached him about helping us out again, and he said he could. I uploaded my documents and he sent our free quote, which was about $200 greater than in previous years, due to the complexity of our tax situation, which I agreed was fair. By this time, we had both had job changes and we'd had a daughter. I expressed that I'd like him to wait before starting, because we had a problem with my husband's income. He had received a 1099, but was being improperly classified as a independent contractor, when he was very clearly a full time employee. So I told Matt we needed to sort this out with the employer before proceeding. He did send me a few lines of advice - suggesting ways to remedy the situation and explaining the main expense difference between @w and 1099 (the social security tax cost). Before I saw his explanation email, I expressed I'd like to chat over the phone to explain our situation more, and to see what he suggested. His quick response was, "I really have laid it all out to you, sorry. I don't want to talk more - if employees at that gym are getting benefits, then negotiate for some of that, too, or the cash equivalent." I will be taking my business to an accountant who is willing to talk over the phone to better understand a client's tax situation. It's unacceptable and unprofessional to respond that way to the suggestion of a phone call with a paying client. After I expressed that I didn't appreciate his unwillingness to talk over the phone, he even said "I've gone way beyond what most tax accountants can or will do, already. This subject is tedious and I've given you all the help I have on the subject." We'll see about that. I find it hard to believe there aren't other CPA's who are willing to talk over the phone to fully understand their client's tax situation. I also realized, this year I've got a new job, and Matt didn't even ask me if I work remotely or not. Which I do, 3 days a week. If I'd gone with him he would have missed that entirely. I will be looking for an accountant who actually cares about his clients well being. Thankfully I saw this behavior before paying him! 10/10 would not recommend Matt to anyone who values customer service or peace of mind in the tax filing process.

I hired Ed for tax services, needing help for the past 3-4 years because I was pregnant and needed assistance. I paid for four years' worth of tax returns, but Ed didn't deliver all the returns. He complained that dealing with the IRS was too time-consuming and he was too busy. This was frustrating because I had paid him for his services. His unprofessionalism was evident when he insulted my brother as 'old fart'. Despite recommending him to my family business before, I regret doing so now. I advise others to consider alternative tax services to avoid the hassle and additional costs I faced.

Trying to get last 2 years tax returns for my Mother, which Rebecca said she would only do by mail and not electronically, but still haven't received them even with follow up emails. She has completely ghosted me. My business accountant who sent her a secure portal to upload those files has not received them either. She was helpful over the years, but this is just puzzling me. My mother also had to pay a fine to the IRS and Rebecca said she'd send a short form which would alleviate that issue. never got that as well.

If you are looking for someone to withhold documents from your tax return and not inform you this is your guy. If you are looking for someone to submit your taxes without signature of approval this is your guy. If you are looking for a guy to lie on your taxes to provide you less money on your return THIS IS YOUR GUY. He took advantage of me as a college student who pays everything herself from college tuition to rent to bills to groceries etc, completely took advantage and went behind my back when I declined his service after catching he was going to submit my taxes without certain tax documents but even when declined and no signatures to approve his estimate and documentation he submitted anyways. I hope karma is in the works for you and I hope you learn better communication and advising your client's with honest service and not abuse of power.

DO NOT use Gloria Wu BWX & Company CPA for service. A very crazy lady that has a very bad temper with attitude and very irresponsible. Easily irritated and as soon as you make her unhappy she will cut you out and not even take care of the rest of the works. They are also very slow in doing tax returns, giving you tax return the day before due date and even late filing for one year of our tax returns. They make employees work OT like crazy with a fixed salary trying to get the most profit out of each employee. Super small firm too. I will make sure all the people I know know about the bad reputation of Gloria Wu CPA.

Henry A. Young failed to perform his job duties of reviewing the tax return after his employee Michael Byrne prepared the return. Michael Byrne is a female and she incorrectly inputted my address, incorrectly inputted the spelling of one of my children's name, and inputted the same child's date of birth incorrectly which caused the IRS to reject my return and my refund advance. I was never told about the rejection and my return was resubmitted without my permission. When I went to the office to discuss the issue Michael Byrne became very unprofessional when I pointed out the mistakes, refused to provide an update on my refund advance, refused to assist any further, became verbally abusive, allowed her boss Henry Young to scream at me to get out of the store and proceeded to call the police to have me removed and refused to assist with their mistakes. Also Henry Young tried to have me arrested for getting a Sprite that is for customers to retrieve on their own and after the police officers arrived I witnessed Michael Byrne recording the officers and me with her cell phone. This incident occurred in front of another employee and a couple Henry Young was supposed to be preparing taxes for. Very unprofessional and embarrassed me publicly as well as having butchered my tax return without an apology or correcting the issue.

DO NOT PREPARE YOUR TAXES WITH THIS FRAUDULENT PERSON!! SHE HAS BEEN FILING TAX RETURNS WITHOUT PEOPLES PERMISSION AND POCKETING THE WHOLE RETURN NOT TO MENTION HER "FIANCE" IS ON MEGANS LAW AS A REGISTERED OFFENDER! STRAIGHT FRAUD IS ALL THIS WOMAN KNOWS. SHE WILL STEAL YOUR WHOLE TAX RETURN, FILE WITHOUT YOUR KNOWLEDGE AND PERMISSION STEAL YOUR DEPENDENTS ADD RANDOM DEPENDENTS THAT BELONG TO OTHERS STAY AWAY!

I have been using this person for three years and every year she has messed up my taxes to the point that IRS is saying that they are showing no tax returns. She owes me money and I paid her a lot of money and she has done nothing when it comes to my tax reports as matter fact, she’s missing major items like the sale of my home the buying of my home she is very Invasive and she does not answer the phone calls. She also is very much someone who always is trying to hide from what you’re supposed to do. I want her removed.

Do not trust this person at all, he has a business partner and they just go around stealing from people, I worked at one of their so-called companies that they dissolved and received no pay stubs or W2 to do my taxes, they had no workers comp on employees getting on roofs, they burned over 16 people and $100k and deserve to be in jail.

This person is a fraud. Paid Diane for service to help resolve issue with board of equalization and she lied saying it was resolved. In the end, it resulted my account being locked and I did not receive any refund from her. No integrity at all, making all CPAs look improper.

My daughter and I used Jeff’s services for approximately four years and during that time he a made a huge error on one of my tax returns which took a year to fix. It was very costly and he didn’t show any empathy or apologize for his mistake for not filing head of household. Jeff misguided me on two occasions as it related to capital gains. He was rude and obnoxious. He would get irritated when we asked him questions. He charged well over market. My daughter and I finally decided to fire him after it got to be too much for us. Our experience was very traumatic and I hope this review helps others. Please don’t use his services. Go to someone who truly cares and respects others.

If I could give her 0 stars I would. Absolutely awful service. Went to her tried to double charge me because I’m young. Went with her and signed everything, never submitted my taxes and texted and called her everyday begging for a reply. Never submitted taxes after paying until I demanded a refund. Rude, unprofessional behavior

Failed to disclose fees and has not provided me my tax year 2023 copies even after multiple attempts. Worse person that took advantage.

Kyra supposedly did my taxes but I never received my return or my tax information. I have had scheduled appointments that she didn’t show up for and now her and her assistant are ignoring me. I’m not sure what to do anymore

See other negative reviews from other people at Yelp, Google and BBB. If they try to give you a hug at this place, refuse it and let them know you are seeking a professional relationship. This place accepted payment then completely ignored my tax issue for months. At one point they stated that they were reviewing lots of tax forms that they received form the IRS. That was a lie, the IRS didn't send them anything. These were the following excuses they used for not addressing my tax issues as I paid them to do. Each of these excuses was provided separately and individually at different times as I inquired as to why they had not met the deadline to which they set and agreed to up front. 1. Jeff's dad had just recently died. 2. Denise's dad was in hospice on his death bed. 3. Denise had just gone and visited her father for the last time. 4. Denise's father had passed away. 5. Denis allegedly spent weeks and weeks in California dealing with a funeral. 6. One of their dachshunds was sick and maybe about to die. 7. Their dog died. I had thousands of dollars in IRS debt on the line which depended on a deadline. I am sorry for their personal problems, however they certainly didn't mention any of these problems when they accepted my payment and agreed to a deadline. There comes a point that I don't care about your personal s**t, do what you promised you would do!! If they tell you that you are like family now, WATCH OUT!! Tell them you won't tell them your personal problems, and you don't wanna hear about theirs. I intend to post negative reviews about these people everywhere I can; google, youtube, yelp, everywhere I can find. Please watch out for these liars. They are NOT CPA's they will imply that they have better than a CPA. LIE. Google it.

Mr Mjenga filed tax returns that cost me almost $7000 in tax penalties to the IRS and the DOR in Massachusetts. I tried many times to come to a peaceful resolution on how to settle the bill. Mr Mjenga ignored my calls, text message s and Whatsapp messages. I eventually learnt that several clients before me were audited by the IRS. I also learnt much later that Mr Mjenga used non commercial software to prepare my tax returns. He charged me for his service and the non commercial software also deducted fees for the return. If you want to avoid an IRS audit, stay away from this business. I have filed my complaint with the IRS and I hope this fellow is eventually stopped from putting more innocent individuals out there in trouble with the IRS. He holds himself out as a tax professional but he is more interested in his fees than filing a compliant tax return on your behalf to the IRS.

Lori Bohme is a fraud! She will do anything to help her clients even if it is commiting tax fraud! I have been going through a divorvce from my x husband for 2 years, upon filing for divorce my attorney asked for the last 3 years of taxes. Come to find out my x was recieving a tax return, which was deposited into his business account that i never had access to! I was always told we owed on our taxes. I never once signed anything nor was I asked to sign. I contacted Stapley accounting and also Bruce Hall Accounting to get any records showing the signatures. I was able to obtain a few, but when i asked Lori for the copies she blamed it on the fire at Bruce Halls office and that her documents burned, which was a lie after finding out from Bruce Halls Accounting that her records were transfered to her BEFORE the fire! I have filed a police report against Lori and my x for tax fraud. I have also recently discovered that Lori is letting my X claim my son every year so the IRS will reject my taxes. I also have my x's last 3 years of taxes showing he and Lori are writing off my vehicle as a business expense on his taxes, which I have paid for my own car this whole time and it has NEVER been used for his business expenses! Loris Daughter was dating my x husbad right after I filed for divorce. She will do anything to get him ahead and financially abuse the other spouce! She is trash and unethical in her business! She needs to have her licence revoked and the IRS needs to audit all of her tax's she has filed!

Be careful people, you do your taxes with Alicia Pena and you'll loose more. She charges $165 and when you're about to pay she'll say if you want I'll take the $165 from your refund and when you get your refund she takes roughly around $400. Misleading, dishonest, wouldn't recommend. Go anywhere else, save money.
