I have been preparing tax returns since 1974, after graduation with my Business and Accounting Degree. I started in Jacksonville, Florida with H & R Block while working full time for Seaboard Coastline Railroad as a Special Accountant to the Treasurer and Vice President of that railroad.
In 1978 I moved to Round Rock, Texas to work as an accountant with Westinghouse Heavy Industry Motor Division where I worked as Payroll and Fixed Asset Accountant.. I also worked part time for H & R Block in Austin, Tx for 2 tax seasons, specializing in State Income Tax for individuals who worked in states which had State Income Tax.
In 1981 I became self employed doing accounting and tax preparation for several small businesses, including Corporate and Partnership tax returns for my clients.
By September, 2022 all but 2 of my accounting clients had sold their businesses and I was left with mostly income tax preparation for my business.
