James "Jim" E. Pettigrew, of Ridgeland Mississippi is not reputable nor is he a reliable tax preparer. Our mailed tax returns of 2013 were sent to him to prepare in March, 2014, and we were told by him via one email and phone call, that he would file an extension on our behalf. He also stated that if we owed any tax, that due to his late filing, that he would even pay 2 or 3 months of interest on our behalf. We repeatedly called, emailed, texted from that point, and he would not return any of our calls, text, emails regarding our extension that he supposedly filed. Nor, did he return any of our tax documents per our written request, with multiple phone and email requests. We sent requests by US mail, email, phone, and text requests, that if he was unable to do our tax return, just please return our tax documents to us. To this day, we have no proof if indeed an extension was filed or not. This has caused us much anxiety and deep concern over the filing of our tax return. We are truly saddened by his unprofessional manner and his lack of communication with us. At the very least he could have returned our important tax documents to us, but to this day, he has not.
