Happy holidays to me and my wife. We received a letter from the IRS reporting we did not claim dividend income from a previous tax year. Mr Gill insisted that I did not present the 1099's to him or he would have entered the dividend income. I proved some of the dividends were entered, but not all. For the record, 1099's are printed on each both sides. The truth is Mr. Gill, to whom I trusted to understand the 1099 statements, has no idea how to read them. I have also found his knowledge of tax laws as it pertains to military pensions is poor based on family who have used his service. Mr. Gill has become arrogant, lazy, and ignorant when it comes to filling out personnel taxes. He hates to be proven wrong and has never admitted or taken ownership to his mistakes. He as cost me fees and interest for the last time. Sad part is I have allowed Mr. Gill to file my taxes for about the last 15+ years-shame on me. His service fee maybe cheap, but you run the risk of getting what you pay for. My suggestion, find someone else or do it yourself.
