Client Reviews of Stuart Goldberg, CPA

Stuart I. Goldberg ("Stu") was my father's trusted CPA for many years, for business, then through retirement/assisted living. In 2014, my father's banker noticed a # of checks written to Stu totalling > $10,000. When confronted, Stu admitted wrongdoing; agreed to repay over time, but only repaid $2000. Another CPA was hired who worked through my father's death in Aug,2017, at age 95. I'm moved to write this review as a cautionary tale, to notify others considering hiring Mr. Goldberg either independently or through his affiliation with Resnick & Newman, LLP. Although seemingly competent in the past, his breach of fiduciary responsibility and manipulation of a long-term client in his dotage speaks for itself.
