We have had a long line of problems with Accounting Cents accounting. The training she did created and compounded the already evident accounting problems more extensively. • Entries for payroll were erroneous, overly complicated and out of line with GAAP standards • Billing was entered under income for almost the entire year of 2016 instead of COGS, out of line with GAAP standards • Journal entries do not tie back to retained earnings or prior YE’s. One journal entry has a $58,000 reconciliation discrepancy, which is then reversed, also out of line with GAAP standards. • Claimed to have cleaned up the A/R & A/P, yet I had to reverse 2014 & 2015 A/R of $30,000 in Trade COGS which should have been written off in 2015. • Customer deposits were not accounted for at any tax years over inflating Profit on tax returns. • Several other issues with the accounting had to be addressed, but cannot be posted publicly. 2014 & 2015 tax returns have to be amended. She billed us in excess of $20,000 plus the fees for filing the tax returns.
