Confused between my corporate and personal tax work. Missed deadlines for tax season. Then, missed extension. He then focused the remainder of our professional relationship on his liability and that the fines and taxes were my responsibility not his. Provided me with copies of our texts to each other and omitted vital information and messages, leaving others to appear innocent. When confronted with personal saved texts and the discrepencies from his fraudulent text message log, he became physical and literally grabbed the paperwork provided to me, physically grabbed me and pushed me out of his office, injuring my shoulder, then shredded the documents he created to erase the evidence and printed the full text log, dropping it out of his office side door then locking it, and claiming it as the original document given to me. This was all recorded and acknowledged by both partied as being recorded, and is available for anyone requesting a copy from me (search for Dr. Roman from Nature's Way Medicine to find my contact info). He also filed the corporate paperwork with wrong addresses and refused to speak over the phone or in person, demanding only communication through text messages despite my resistance to this and requests to communicate like normal individuals. I even had an identity theft occur during this and received no help despite my identity theft insurance covering everything. I am certain at least one other customer last season had that happen from his office and I am starting to realize that this was likely a planned preemptive act of crime by the accountant (not a CPA) and the bookkeeper associated with him who left me two days before the year's books needed closing and refusing to discuss financial discrepancies. That was his associate Cheryl Anderson. She advertises on local Craigslist sites as a bookkeeper and refers clients to John right away. It's some kind of a con they are running. It's cost me tens of thousands of dollars as an entrepreneur. Also, both were super insulting and John was so rude and had such a lack of people skills it was impossible to have a productive conversation with him from day one.
