Client Reviews of Frank J. Calise

After multiple phone interviews, I was asked to come in to meet with Frank Calise. I have experience working directly with CEOs of $100M+ companies, and from the outside, this company looked interesting. Frank proceeded to insult me repeatedly, attempted to mansplain finance, and push and prod at me until I couldn't take the abuse any longer. His rude and callous demeanor was completely uncalled for and inappropriate. If he is treating candidates like this, just imagine how it is working for him. This type of tone-deaf behavior doesn't fly anymore. There are 310,000 financial advisors in the US. There are free online alternatives to his "services" and based on their website (which is laughably bad), they're failing to offer any value to clients that can't be found elsewhere for free. Robo-advisors will invest your money in the same stocks/bonds/ETFs for a fraction of the fees, and there are many safer tax filing solutions that don't require you to work with a sociopath. After doing some research I found that past associates of the firm have terrible reputations in the community. It's clear that this business has failed to keep up with the times, is floundering, and is doomed to remain a sad little tax shop for unsophisticated retirees.
