Client Reviews of Ivan F. Lawson, EA

Went to H&R block for the first time today to file my taxes with my girlfriend and we were assisted by Mr, Lawson. I had a couple of questions and concerns about my taxes since I had just moved here from another state. He anwsered most of my questions and said he would give me an estimate of my refund, everything was going good until he asked me to sign something I didnt understand. I was confused because we were just doing an estimate of my tax refund so I was concerned on why I had to sign something, he became really frustrated and stated in a whispering voice *so the other clients didnt hear what he stated next, "look I'm too professional for you to be wasting my time, if your not going to declare your taxes here then I suggest you get up and leave." I was shocked. I proceeded to grab my paperwork and left, it wasn't a pleasant experience for us, we were really disappointed and don't recommend Ivan F. Lawson to anyone that wants to have a pleasant time while filing their taxes.
