First of all my taxes are complicated. Darrell had agreed to do them despite this. Appreciate that, but assuming he would know what he's doing. According to him trying to get the best deal for me I had to pay 2800 total. He reiterated he wasnt trying to rip me off and he quoted around 400 to 750 to do my taxes and I thought okay lets see. He told me to get a temporary number from the Ss number office, the attendant laughed at me and stated doesnt your tax personell know what they are doing. I thought let me get a second opinion, H&R block did my taxes for 340 total and got me 2800 money BACK when Darrell told me 2800 to PAY was the most I could get. I decided to go with H&R block and Darrell said for the "work" he did I would have to pay him 400$ despite him not doing my taxes. Also he spent maybe 30 mins on the phone with me while H&R block spent 2 hours with me and did my taxes 3 different ways to get me the best refund. This guy (Darrell) may be able to do simple taxes but if he does please do yourself a favor and get a second opinion as I don't think he knows how to get you the best refund. This is my honest opinion of him and I personally had a negative experience and had to pay double to get my taxes done. I hope others have a better experience than I did if you go with him.
