I went to Lynda based on a trusted referral, and I am very disappointed. I needed to file for a tax extension due to some extenuating circumstances, and by her instruction, I did not pay the full estimated tax amount, just 75% until I got some resolve regarding the circumstances. I did as she advised, and I got a letter from the IRS that I incurred penalties for not paying the full amount by the due date. The IRS representative I spoke with explained that the whole amount was due by the due date, even if I waited until October to file. I called Lynda about the situation, and she denied that she ever told me to do that, claiming that in her 30 years of service she would never advise a client to do that. I told her repeatedly that she did tell me to do that, and by following her advise, I lost money in IRS penalties. She continued to deny what she said, claiming she would never advise a client to do that. There was no resolve. My experience with her is one of incorrect advise that cost me penalties and rough interactions as she could grow in a more pleasant demeanor when interacting with clients.
