Some years ago, I was accused by the IRS of owing a large amount of back taxes. I do not remember the exact amount (I think it was about $9,000), but it was many, many thousands of dollars. This was due to a mistake by another CPA and was incorrect. Every effort I made to straighten this out failed. I even went to see 3 other CPAs to find help. No one would help me. I finally found Pam and thank goodness!! Pam was willing to take the time to really understand the situation, see how it was created, and to stick with it for over a year to work with IRS to finally create a resolution to the problem. For the next couple of years, I used an accountant the was closer to me, but have found that I was not receiving good service nor was I getting good advice. Now that I have been to the rest, I am sticking with the best: Pam Oakley. I know she always has my back and is worth the drive and I will never complain about that again.
