I got my Taxes done through HHC Tax Service, Henry King was who filed my taxes for me. After filing I received a bill from the IRS on April 25th 2022 for $310.34, this amount is about half of my tax return. I emailed Henry about this asking what the letter meant, and why I owed this amount. He told me that when he had asked me about receiving the third stimulus check, my response was no and that is why I owe the IRS money, because they did in fact send me the third stimulus. This is not true, I never told him that I did not receive this payment. I have an email from March 27th 2022 which had a bank statement showing the 3rd stimulus deposit. This is what I sent him when he asked about the 3rd stimulus. So I re-sent this email to him, showing him that what he is saying is wrong and that I never told him that I did not receive this stimulus. His response was, "We claimed on your 2021 that you did not receive it, so you should pay the IRS". So although I owe this money due to his neglect to put my information in correctly, his solution is for me to just pay it. I can not get in contact with the IRS, I don't know what else to do. So now on top of paying him to do my taxes, I now lose half of my tax return essentially after paying the IRS this bill, all because he filed my information wrong. There was no reason for this, I sent him the information that he needed and he ignored it.

We have been going to Henry for our personal tax returns for many years. we have a lot of quirky deductions for work, charity, etc, and kids who now live in other states. henry has been fantastic in keeping up with all our activity and job changes, and filing out of state returns for our kids etc.. we have been very , very happy and pleased with Henry as our tax accountant, and i would highly recommend him. he is also very personable, and kind of funny at times.
