I've been looking for a tax preparer I can come back to year after year and came to Jennifer by recommendation. Perhaps she had my email or phone numebr confused with another customer, but I received no updates from her end for close to a month despite email check-ins on my side (without response) throughout the duration. I only received responses to texts that were curt and unprofessional saying she had emailed me. I did a thorough search of my email to find no such thing and sent her my email address for verification without response. Now, a few days ahead of the tax deadline she's told me I should look for help elsewhere, which I could maybe have done a month ago, but have no hope of so close to the deadline. I'd like to give her the benefit of the doubt that there was a mixup on her end, but that still doesn't excuse the unprofessional responses.
