Getting my taxes done by Darlene was by far one of the worst experiences I have had with a business owner. Not only were my taxes filed incorrectly, communication with her was impossible. Once I received notice in the mail that my return was filed in correctly Darlene dropped off the face of the earth. She never responded to a single email or a single phone call. I ended up having to pay another REAL tax service professional to correct her errors. In addition to payment two people to do my taxes, I was also charged late fees & penalties for not paying on time because according to Darlene the letter from the state was incorrect. She directed me to hold off payment until she could get it resolved…. Needless to say, that never happened. Avoid dealing with this rookie at all cost. She is unprofessional, lacks knowledge in her profession & should not be trusted to handle anyone’s tax return.
